El Movimiento Carismático en México al interior de la Iglesia católica en general es denominado Movimiento de Renovación Cristiana en el Espíritu Santo, pero popularmente es reconocido como Renovación Carismática o Movimiento Carismático (este último es su nombre oficial en Estados Unidos). Para otros es sólo Movimiento de Renovación.
